These Double Pointed stilts are ideal for increasing air flow during your firings, to ensure that all parts of your pot are evenly heated. Simply use these stilts to prop up greenware or bisqued pots inside the kiln. At The Ceramic Shop, we also like to use these stilts to prop up leather hard pieces to ensure even drying of the bottoms of our pots before firings.
These stilts do not have metal points and should only be used on glaze-free surfaces.
They are made from durable stoneware and can withstand repeated firings. Maximum firing temperature is Cone 10 (2400 F).
The Double Pointed #5 stilts measure 2.5" from the tip of one arm to the tip of the next (point to point).
The Double Pointed #7 & #8 stilts measure 3.5" from the tip of one arm to the tip of the next (point to point). These are the same stilts.
The Double Pointed #9 stilts measure 3.75" from the tip of one arm to the tip of the next (point to point)
The Double Pointed #12 stilts measure 4.5" from the tip of one arm to the tip of the next (point to point).
