Mold Release Soap is used to allow freshly cast plaster to release easily from a plaster master form. Mixed with water 50/50, the soap is applied to the master with a soft hair brush and, when mostly dried, wiped with a damp potter’s sponge to remove traces of soap. 3 applications are recommended followed by buffing with a dry, soft-hair brush.
